the grand terrace

last week (like what i've mentioned in the last posts) we went to the Grand Terrace to finalize some stuff with Val (our friendly contact from Grand Terrace as well as with Flowers Unlimited (kuya Roland)... in the middle of the conversations i managed to take a few shots...

...the pic on the right i think is where the cocktails (hmmm.. i think) will be placed... in between the ceremony and the reception... were' not actually 100% final yet as to the placement of certain stuff since great ideas pop out all the time but we'll see...

ow, just another idea just in case you haven't bought anything for us yet... what day is it? it's already the 8th! 12 days to go! come on guys! haha.. (joke)

anyways, lei and i met with the make-up artist last friday at gateway... just so happened, there's a gourdo's outlet there so we just had to check it out...

..you guys are in luck... well i am... haha... we were actually window shopping for you guys... to save you all the trouble of thinking what to buy.. ain't that sweet? haha...

moving on... saw this gorgeous peppermill (it's a pepper crusher) staring at me... 'twas about 2 feet long... not too sure bout the wood (make) though... i asked the salesperson it it twas on sale (like some of the other items)... sadly it wasn't ... the price by the way: Php2,200...

come on.. that's only like 15 happy meals... a good restaurant meal for two plus movies... bout 3 shirts... and for that... everytime lei and i would cook... we'll always remember you guys! aint that good? haha..

(back to reality) moving on (again)... well if you've already got a gift for us, i highly recommend you get the item yourselves, it's a good investment, makes you feel a real "master" of your kitchen.. right? most department stores have these cromed-out peppermills bout 7 inches high.. but nothing beats wood right? - well as far as peppermills are concerned... and nothing beats the smell and taste of freshly milled peppercorns :)

no, no.. not the showbiz kind.. nor the titillating kind.. (if you know what i mean)... it's the toyota kind.. you know 2 door... 4k engine...

...well i saw it yesterday over at sulit.com.ph... here's the link For Sale: Toyota Starlet .. somewhere in pampanga for only Php50K (i think it's negotiable though - probably down to Php35k)... hehe... i'll mow your lawn & take out your trash for a week... perhaps even walk your dog.. haha... Góðan daginn (for the uninitiated, that's hello in iceland.. i learned it just now from flickr hehe)

i think maybe 1 or 2 have already asked me what if it rains on my parade (cliche) this coming oct 20... am i not worried? the asnwer is NO! :)

well rains are actually the least of my worries right now... i'm more concerned about electricity if you asked me.. you know in case of a black-out...

however, i think we covered all these when we chose grand terrace... you see its a new place, it hasn't even celebrated its 1st anniversary yet as far as i'm concerned.. so all their equipment are new... walls, generators, sound system, all of it... so well.. its ok

i've posted a picture of the venue here so you'd get the idea of the "garden"... you see its covered and airconditioned at that.. as for the ceremony hall, of course its also covered.. it's not called a freakin' "hall" if it has no roof... hehe...

the place also has valet service so if you're bringing a car, its ok... no umbrellas necessary... commuters though have to bring theirs...

all you have to worry about right now is your dress/clothes and of course your gift! - DO NOT FORGET! :) hehe
